Questions & answers

Common questions

Can't see your question? Call us on 01924 400216. Advice is always free.

Should I run my business as a limited company?

It depends on your profits and your plans. A company can save tax once profits are higher, but it brings more paperwork and different rules for taking money out. We'll compare both for you, free of charge.

What rate of Corporation Tax will my company pay?

19% on profits up to £50,000 and 25% on profits over £250,000, with a sliding scale in between. The limits are shared if you have more than one company.

Do I need to verify my identity with Companies House?

Yes. Directors and people with significant control now need to verify their identity with Companies House. We can walk you through it.

Can you take over from my current accountant?

Yes. We contact them for your records and make sure no deadline is missed during the switch.
